A Vietnam-era souvenir jacket — brought back by an American soldier, hand-embroidered in Vietnam with the imagery that defined this category of military memorabilia: maps, unit insignia, figures, slogans. These were made by Vietnamese craftsmen in the 1960s and early 70s for GIs to send home or wear on their return. Authentic examples in good condition are increasingly hard to find.
